* foster the development of technology education in Aotearoa New Zealand
* empower collective action in response to emerging issues, including the shaping of educational policies
* set annual shared strategic objectives, guiding the growth of each association
* cultivate a unified identity in technology education through collaboration
* provide informed recommendations on behalf of four associations
